Heritage.
The old School House is part of the heritage of the Bishopscourt property. Built in the 1890s for Bishop Montgomery’s arrival from England with his many children. The building has remained whole, with a studio-type feel including main king bed and sitting area divided by large modern joinery. The bunk room allows for those extra guests; 1-2 children, friend, grandma or aunt? You can relax in the large bath and enjoy underfloor heating through the modern addition.

Kitchenettes in each main apartment are equipped with dishwashers, bar fridges, microwaves, kettles, sandwich toaster, toasters and coffee plungers. Please note that there are no formal cooking facilities.
The communal guest Courtyard has seating and natural gas BBQ. And Outhouse facilities include washing machine and clothes dryer.
Master Bed.
King bed can be split to make two singles on request.
Bunk Room.
Extra space for the kids, friend, aunt or grandma! Top bunk folds away when not in use. Also a hidden TV…. look for the apples?
Relax.
Hydronic radiators and underfloor heating will keep you warm - the gas fire will give you that extra boost after a brisk visit to Mt Wellington!
